4 cups Gluten-free Oats (Trader Joe’s makes a great one in a bag)
1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1 cup pecan pieces (walnuts or brazil nuts will work too)
½ teaspoons ground Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Maple Syrup
6 Tablespoons Organic, Extra Virgin Oilve Oil
4 Tablespoons melted Better Body Foods Coconut Oil
Optional: 1 cup organic dried cranberries or raisins
3 Tablespoons MitoXcell Superfood Blend
HOW TO MAKE MITOXCELL CHOCOLATE GRANOLA
In a large bowl, combine oats, coconut, pecans, cinnamon, and salt until evenly mixed. Pour maple syrup and oils over the mixture and stir until all the oats have a glossy sheen and the mixture looks consistent. Dump the granola mixture onto a cookie sheet and spread evenly across the pan. Gently shake to help distribute the granola across all corners of the sheet for even, golden-brown toastiness. Bake in preheated oven (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20-25 minutes, stirring once and shaking again at 12 minutes. Place pan on stove top or cooling rack and add raisins or cranberries if you are using them… Allow to cool for about 4 more minutes. Gently spoon MitoXcell over the granola and toss with a spatula to evenly distribute the dark chocolate throughout the mixture. Enjoy right away with your favorite milk. For storage, you can use a glass jar or Ziploc bag once it has cooled completely. Makes a great snack throughout the day or a crunchy topper to frozen desserts.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and gather your ingredients because you're gonna enjoy this one!
